The Mikaelson family reunion is going to be a bloody one, and most of the action and anger will be coming from a surprising source: Elijah! “It’s an interesting contradiction. He’s always talking about family, family, family, but he’s really talking about the triumvirate of himself, Klaus and Rebekah, and by extension now Hayley and her child,”Daniel Gillies told me. “He doesn’t want his mother, father and other brothers to come back. His mother has to be the most threatening force out of all of them and she represents a force that can end them all. Elijah’s going to be expecting a war and we can expect to learn a whole lot more about this family in the throes of that war.” Let’s just hope Elijah’s got a good dry cleaner on speed dial, because we get the feeling his suits are about to get really messy.
