We have several articles and interviews about The Originals and we have also just learned that Michael Trevino is set to crossover from The Vampire Diaries. Can’t wait!
EW on Michael Trevino’s Crossover:
Tyler had just made his first appearance in season 5 one episode before he announced he was headed off again. ”A lot of fans are upset that Tyler has made the decision to leave as soon as he shows up. I’m getting a little bit of flack for it on the Twitterverse here,” Trevino says. “I just want to say everything will be explained, and I think Tyler will make it good once he shows up to The Originals…. I think everybody will be happy with Tyler’s reasoning when they see what he’s been up to and what he has planned.”

“A lot of things will come out of that crossover that will shake things up in the core dynamic of the original family,” Narducci said. “There will be a whole storyline that will come out of where that crossover leads them geographically and what they discover when they’re there.” Although Plec was quick to add, “That’s not what it sounds like — it’s not like they head back to Mystic Falls.”
Leah Pipes on Cami and Klaus via THR:
Camille and Klaus have an intriguing connection that’s been brewing for a few weeks now. What can you say about what we may see in the future?
I really am trying to get to the writers to tell me what’s going to happen with Klaus, but I have no idea. My guess is as good as yours. Obviously there is a connection there; it’s a connection between two people. I feel that connection in my life, and it’s not romantic necessarily. It’s just [this feeling of] you’ve met this person before and you can share so much with them and you feel you can open with them. But of course it’s complicated. [Klaus is] not a person, and he’s mind-controlling me. It’s a complicated relationship. Cami’s not the typical love interest. There’s a lot more to that character than just being the love interest.
Daniel Gillies on Elijah’s “Code” via JustJaredJr:
JJJ: Meanwhile, everyone thinks of Elijah as this sort of noble vampire…
DG: No, it’s just that he has a code and he serves his family according to that code. But if you get in the way of that, he’ll destroy you – whether you’re human, animal, or anything. He’s merciless. He handed a stake to another vampire and said, “You’re going to stake yourself in front of me” and chopped off the head of another vampire. He’s an assassin. He threw coins into a cafe when there were people of innocence sitting all around. People do forget about that. People are like, “He’s noble.” But then remember, he’s like a murderous, raging, terrible, awesome vampire. It’s wonderful for me because I get to play all these different colors and varieties. I’ve never seen as noble. I’ve seen him as devoted to a cause with a degree of commitment that’s honorable. It’s honor that he has, but he’s a noble, giving, sweet, compassionate guy.
Phoebe Tonkin Talks Elijah’s Desire to Protect Hayley via JustJaredJr:
JustJaredJr: So let’s talk about Elijah and Hayley first. We definitely see something between them…
Phoebe Tonkin: I think Hayley’s main priority right now is her child. I don’t think she’s really looking for a relationship with anyone. At the same time, Elijah’s doing something that she’s never experienced before, which is being respectful toward her, caring for her, and protecting her. I think that’s intriguing to her because she’s had all these men in her life who dispose of her or treat her badly. You know, her foster parents kicked her out. So I don’t necessarily think she’s attracted at the moment to Elijah romantically, but she has genuine respect for him and his protecting her and the baby.
